Convert Customers Into Brand Ambassadors

Loyal customers are one of the most powerful tools when it comes to expanding a brand’s reach. Through referrals, user-generated content, and word of mouth, your customers can help to establish a degree of trust between their peers and your brand. Put yourself in this situation: wouldn’t you be more trusting to a brand that a close friend recommended compared to a business you randomly found on the web?

We’ve recently released an article offering six simple ways you can convert your loyal customers into brand ambassadors. The first step? Ensuring that your customer service experience is flawless. Customers aren’t going to recommend your business if they find it frustrating. This is only the beginning - click here to read the full article.

Share Your Content At The Right Time

Sharing your brand’s content on social media is a no-brainer these days - with more and more businesses entering the digital space, it’s important to stand out and leave a mark on the target audience. One of the best ways to do this is to optimise your social media schedule. The first step towards achieving this is to be much more deliberate with regards to the time of day you’re posting

Social media analytics are there to help grow your account and to tell you what’s working with your followers. Take the time to browse these stats and see what time of day your audience is most active. What day of the week are they typically scrolling through their feed, engaging with your content? Once you have a clear picture, try incorporating this into your posting schedule. Start sharing your content on specific days, and at certain times, to ultimately maximise your brand's exposure per post.

Widen The Reach

To boost your brand’s visibility online, it’s important to ensure you're engaging your audience across multiple social media platforms. Sure, your Instagram may be doing vey well, but what about Facebook? LinkedIn? Twitter? Pinterest? Having one, strong social media page is great and all, but developing a handful of audiences across multiple platforms is much more of an asset. You’ll not only be able to further increase your website traffic and improve your search engine rankings, but you may also reduce marketing costs and increase sales for your business.

Why limit yourself to one or two platforms? We’re gifted with countless forms of social media. There’s no reason not to take full advantage of them.

Utilise Social Media Ads

They’re cost-effective, as accessible as ever, and single campaigns can reach thousands of potential customers; social media ads are great starting points for businesses hoping to expand their reach. Platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn offer business owners the opportunity to boost their posts for a price to suit any budget. Select your target audience and how long you’d like the ad to run, and you’ll be ready to go.

It’s clear how useful this form of advertisement can be, especially in this day and age, although it’s just as important for business owners to pursue other forms of marketing. Whether it’s through social media influencers or consumer reviewers, different forms of social media marketing can yield different results. Explore your options and uncover a method that best suits your business.

Encourage Your Followers To Share

When you’re sharing a photo, video, or article on social media, you should strive for a conversation between the brand and its followers. Although, this stage can be difficult to reach. Posting consistently is a great first step, but it doesn’t ensure engagement from your audience, especially if you aren’t offering them the opportunity to share your content.

So, what can you do to encourage fans to share and interact with your posts? Firstly, be sure to ask them relevant questions in the caption. For example, when I share this article across my social media channels, I might ask: ‘How many social media accounts do you have for your brand? Let us know in the comments below!’ This can help to spark a direct conversation between my followers and I.

As well as this, it helps to incorporate a call to action in the description along with a brief comment, asking your followers to share the post. If we consider the previous example, I might include the following in my description when I’m sharing this article: ‘Are you doing everything you can to boost your brand’s visibility? Click the link below to find out. Be sure to share the article with someone that needs to read this!’

Call to actions can come in many forms, whether it’s a subscribe button, an enticing phrase, or even a countdown clock. Get creative, have fun with it, and settle on an option that best reflects your brand.

Optimise Content For Social Media

It’s clear how crucial social media is for boosting your brand’s discoverability, although different platforms often require diverse tactics to produce search-friendly content. Take Twitter for example - hashtags are of utmost importance. When you’re uploading content on Twitter for your business, it may be wise to include a handful of trending, relevant hashtags.

On the other hand, a post’s description on Facebook and LinkedIn proves to be the critical aspect. Before you write your caption, take some time to contemplate what your audience would be searching for on these platforms and try to scatter these keywords throughout the description.

When someone lands on your social media page, make sure it looks up to scratch. Ensure you have an attractive layout, including an appealing profile picture, banner, and news-feed. This will ultimately increase your odds of getting that ‘like’ or ‘follow’.
